Story

Dr. Joseph was born in Joplin in 1960. He attended Riverton (Kansas) and Joplin elementary schools and graduated from Joplin Memorial High School in 1978. Dr. Joseph was elected and served as the Memorial High School student body president in his senior year. After high school Dr. Joseph attended MSSC in Joplin. Then in 1981 he was accepted into the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. After receiving a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1985, Dr. Joseph completed a 24-month orthodontic residency at St. Louis University Medical Center.

In addition to 2 years of clinical and didactic training in orthodontics, Dr. Joseph completed a Master's Thesis based on his research in orthodontics, earning the degree of Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) from the Graduate School of Saint Louis University in 1987. Dr. Joseph also served as class president of his residency program at Saint Louis University Medical Center.
Dr. Joseph has been a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association and the Southwest Missouri District Dental Society, where he served as president in 1998-1999.

Dr. Joseph has passed both the Missouri Dental Board examination required to practice general dentistry and the Missouri Dental Board specialty examination required to be certified as a specialist in orthodontics.

Dr. Joseph has treated thousands of patients on the west side of Joplin for the past 30 years!

We are located in a brand new facility just west of 26th & Maiden Lane in Joplin. We are adjacent to a brand new Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market.
