This is a wonderful night out. The meal was outstanding. We came at prime time Saturday night so there was a 30m wait ~ we didn't have reservations. It was worth waiting for. We were invited to have a drink in the bar while we waited. They had live music the night we were there ~ a wonderful and fun three man band. A terrific evening ~ we highly recommend this place. Very nice.

Cool, old school, Wisconsin supper club.  Great drinks and reasonable prices. Service is also solid.  Decor is a lot on the dated side.

We were told the wait on Friday night would be about 45 minutes. It was just the 2 of us. Larger groups came in and were seated before us. Same size groups came in after us and were seated before us. We had to ask twice about getting seated. After 1.25 hours we were finally seated. People seated after us placed their orders and were served before us. Server was overworked and not attentive. I ordered sour cream with my baked potato and had to ask for it when my potato was served. No lemons were brought to the table - for a fish fry. Not the first time we have had a bad experience there, but will probably be the last.

We ate there for the first time and it will definitely be the last.  When we walked in the door the lady at the counter was less that friendly or hospitable.  She never said hello just "Did you need something?".  She was very short with us then proceed to seat us at a table.  We were seated at exactly 5:15pm and absolutely no one acknowledged that we were there until 5:45pm when a busboy brought us water (30mins later).  By 6:00pm I finally asked the busboy if we could have a waitress take our order. I've never in the busiest most upscale restaurants ever had to wait at a table 45 mins and ask to be acknowledge.  There were 5 tables around us that had all be seated after us and had their orders taken and served before we even had ours taken.  When we got there it was not busy so if it had been I can understand the wait but it wasn't.  Our waitress was less than friendly and had an attitude (I'll refrain from posting her name). She kept telling us how this other table was getting on her nerves (that's poor business).  We also observed that "friends" and "regulars" get the "red carpet" treatment. So while some folks were finished eating and getting their check, we were still waiting on our soup and salad.  The food was so/so but the hospitality and service was rude and disrespectful.  A couple in our party have been there many times in the past and have enjoyed everything but after our last visit we will not be returning.  Staff members need proper training from the front hostess counter to the wait staff.  It's good to show good hospitality to your regulars but it's also good to treat new comers well, also.  That's just common sense.
