I love love "The Cafe"! The best brunch I have had in Iowa! The Cafe serves both sweet, (always look at their special French toast such as smores with real marshmallow fluff or bananas foster type made with banana bread; both had whipped cream and are amazing), and savory food for breakfast/brunch. They also make a great vanilla latte. They have a real machine so you aren't getting the same coffee you would get at gas station with their own fake machine.

Fantastic food combined with the worst service ever. Snotty servers, elitist attitudes, and inconsistent food preparation. I swear I can order the same thing 3 times and get 3 different things. Great flavors and ingredients. If you enjoy the food you can suffer the staff. If your food is wrong, just walk out - they will argue with you before they make it right. No concern for customer experience - they rely on an expired reputation. Did I mention the food is really good?

Really delicious food. The house made chips and and onion dip were great! The steak sandwich was also really good and came with a fresh salad, very unique flavors and high quality. The service was also very nice. This place is a must!

I hate their policy that you can't sit on the table and wait for your friends to arrive. It is simply insulting!
I had different experiences with foods, some I liked, some where alright and some I didn't like. So, that would be a tough call but I will say the quality of foods is great.
Seems overpriced!
Service is alright
Cool atmosphere but I prefer Provision with a similar food and style

The menu changes every week, and it's always something good and a bit unique. Only complaints are the wait and the lights are very dim. The food is amazing though and all of their desserts are incredible. You definitely should get a dessert if you are going here because of how yummy they are
