Excellent small venue for bluegrass and r&b music. Rustic to the point of being charmingly shabby. Reasonable $ drinks. Cash only. No food. Recommended if you want to just chill and enjoy good music without pretense.

Deserves more than 4 for sure. There’s an entry charge (which they call cover for some reason) if you come in late, but the live music is well worth 6 bucks. All cash place, but there’s an ATM inside or so I’ve been told. Come here with a bunch of friends, you’ll have a great time!

I never knew what a dive bar was until I came into this place. Everyone is friendly, laid back, they only accept cash, it sometimes smells of pee, there's always live music, and the patrons are in general above 40 years old. Save for the usual small group of young folks that show up for fun.

On Mondays is amateur night and you get to hear a mixture of a bunch of bad musicians sprinkled with some amazing ones that appear rarely and seemingly out of the blue. 

The staff is very friendly and there are a lot of characters working there. Sort of like a sitcom. The nights when the professional bands are playing it's possible to dance and have fun and the crowd is usually dancing.

When we went it was empty on a Sat afternoon but staff were difficult and extremely rude. Would not allow us to move bar stools from one end of the bar where they were unused to the other where there was more space. Drinks were expensive. So many more options for cool bars in Cambridge. This place is absolutely filthy, don't even attempt the toilets.
