Always great food. Always a changing list of specials worth having. CD is cozy and quiet. Great for a date night or a nice meal with a loved one. Guy Fieri should visit here.

"That's what food eats." I said, as I skeptically eyed the shallow bowl of tastefully arranged leafy stuff my girlfriend passed me. Content in my ignorance, unaware that what actually sat in front of me was apparently ambrosia stolen from Mt. Olympus and not the house salad.
How wrong I was.
How quickly I learned.

Some minutes later I sat there with the 1000-yard stare of a man who realizes he's just had the most incredible salad of his life and is coming to grips with the ridiculousness of having said that in his own head.

Slowly the conversation faded back in like the beach scene from Saving Private Ryan and I caught back up with the topic at hand. But sitting there, I had the unsettling feeling that I had peaked. In my mid twenties I have experienced the full range of emotions one can associate with food. I have loved, I have lost, and I now stand at the edge of a vast desert of culinary disappointment that I fear I will never live to see the other side of. 

CD's: come for a salad, stay for the existential crisis, and leave with the crushing realization you've glimpsed perfection.

One of our favorite restaurants in Southern MD. The menus are creative and use seasonal, local ingredients. Get there at opening time if you don't want to wait! It's very small and intimate which is a plus for some, but you may wait a while for table turnover. Leave room for dessert! They're amazing!

A true gem on Solomon's Island.  The crab cake sandwich (minus the bun) was paired with a small green salad.  Add the green goddess dressing - it was a delicious and incredible lunch.  Cozy venue too!  Highly recommend.
