My girlfriend and i decided to have breakfast here on our way back form Arnold since the menu looked unique and it had great reviews. I ordered the Chicken n Waffles and she got Southern Slammer Sandwich, the food came out quite quick and it looked amazing. But, upon biting into the chicken, it was cold in the center. I asked a passing by waitress if they make them fresh, she said yes and she would let my waitress know. they quickly swapped out my chicken for new ones and they were cold and dry on the inside, you could tell that they were cooked at a early time, stuck in the fridge and microwaved to order. my girlfriend was done with her meal as i got rest of mine and it was not my effort to waste any more time, so i ate it anyways. After leaving come to find out on her grits were cold but she's not one to complain. If the food would have been fresh it would have been amazing, but other then that it was not that good

The food here is amazing and there is a great variety on the menu. I actually love eating here. The only reason I'm giving a 3-star review is that on my last visit there, I brought my mom who is from out of state because I thought she would love the food. Again, the food was great, but it took almost 10 minutes before our waitress showed up at our table. Then, it took forever for her to get our drinks. By the time she got our drinks, we were ready to order, but she said she would come back to take our order. I had my 3 year old son with me, and even though he is very good at restaurants, it took a ridiculous amount of time for her to get our order taken. Also, she hardly ever visited our table, and I was embarrassed that I brought my mom there with the terrible service we got. What that waitress didn't know, is that I had a direct line of sight where I could see her chatting with the bartender WAY too much. There is no excuse for that. Unfortunately, my mom is too nice and still tipped her over 20%, even though she didn't deserve it.

Ate here on my birthday and my waitress was very inattentive and she seemed as though she did not wait to serve our table. When told about the birthday at the table she informed us there was nothing she could do for us. Then a few moments later, the table across from us received a cute dish with a lit birthday candle in it. No big deal I wasn't turning 5 but just the fact that she didn't at least offer that it seemed weird. At the end of our horrible service experience one person in my party voiced to her that the service was unsatisfactory and to that she replied "It is what it is." We proceeded to the front to tell the sweet hostess how great they were and how our waitress probably needs a day off and gave them her tip money. Won't return to this establishment, first and last time.

Really cool southern menu. Nothing basic or boring here. They work hard to make the food unique and tasty. 3 restaurant local chain seems to have already win numerous awards. Easy to see why.

It was good. They even messed my order up and made no hassle, no attitudes, or sour faces as they corrected it. They were completely understanding and even took ownership, as a good staff should. Staff very friendly and welcoming and general. Food was good.
