With a legacy of more than 30 years of championing the region's artist community, CFEVA provides practical career support, exhibition opportunities, educational outreach, and stipend-based teaching experience for emerging visual artists. CFEVA embraces the opportunity connect Philadelphia artists with the communities in which they work and live while simultaneously increasing public interest in the visual arts. CFEVA is a proud steward of the annual Philadelphia Open Studio Tours™ (POST™).
Dedicated to engaging and supporting artists and their audiences, The Center for Emerging Visual Artists' mission is: to coordinate a strong regional support system for visual artists; to advance the careers of professional artists in the region; to promote relationships between artists and the communities in which they live; and to increase access to the visual arts for the citizens of the greater Philadelphia area.
