5 Stars  The Cereal Lab is a dream come true for cereal lovers! The concept is fun and unique – you get to mix and match your favorite cereals, toppings, and milk options to create the ultimate customized bowl. The combinations are endless, and every visit feels like a new adventure.  The staff are super friendly and helpful, making sure you get exactly what you’re craving. The atmosphere is bright and cheerful, perfect for enjoying a nostalgic treat or introducing your favorite cereals to friends and family. Whether you’re stopping by for breakfast or just a sweet snack, The Cereal Lab always delivers a delicious and fun experience.  Highly recommend for anyone who loves cereal or just wants to try something different. I can’t wait to go back!

Today was a great day for some ice cream. We decided on The Cereal Lab. It was colorful and provided a wall for photo ops. It was very welcoming. There was one person working and it was not busy at all. We placed our order and played the board games that were available while we waited. We received our order and overall it was good. The topping was all on the top, and once you put your spoon in to eat, the toppings went all over the place. Also, the spoon provided to eat the ice cream was so flimsy that it would bend backward. This was not soft serve ice cream.  It was hand scooped ice cream. I had to hold the base of my plastic spoon so that I could get some ice cream on the spoon to eat it. I am glad that I went, but I was not wowed enough to go back anytime soon.

This is actually our second time here.  My granddaughters loved it both times.  I don't think I got anything the first time we came, but this time I just wanted a single scoop of vanilla ice cream, and that was the same price as if I had gotten toppings and cereal, which was $8.  After we left I ended up going to QT and getting my $1.39   vanilla ice cream cone. Overall the place has a nice look. There are tables to sit inside and eat as well as a couple tables outside. They also have a couple of board games you can play while you're waiting or while you're eating, and a television, which was playing music videos.

Customer service 10/10. The owner gave us a concise and great rundown of what they offered. Made us feel like long lost friends hungry for cereal. Presentation was great and their signature combos were perfect.  When we came in, there were lots of school kids here hanging out and it was refreshing to see the staff treat them as well as they treated us.  This place is fun, unique, and a great stop for something sweet. Will visit again if I’m in town.

The Cereal Lab is such a cute ice cream shop! Clean, bright, & the customer service was great! I had a shake made with Cake Batter ice cream, Oreo Crumbles, & Oreo Drizzle. It was super sweet, but you gotta try it at least once! There were soooo many different cereal options. I plan to tell all my cereal/ice cream lovers about this spot!

Love all the options that you can do. Every cereal lovers heaven. We tried the milkshakes. Cereal wall is so cute for photos and I love that you can hang out and play different board games. Nice touch. Have to say I would Especially come back just because of the staff. They were soooo kind especially Coco! She deserves a raise!!

I visited the Cereal Lab and was thoroughly impressed by the concept behind this business! Not only can you get a bowl of cereal but you can also get shakes, ice cream, and açaí bowls! Their service was superior. I was assisted by the owner and her staff and they were all so detail oriented and focused on providing the best experience possible for not just myself but each customer that came in.  I love that they also offer games and a space to enjoy your order inside the shop. The ambiance was such a fun and inviting vibe that this is a MUST DO when you’re in the downtown Decatur area!

A novel, but subpar experience.  These two cups of ice cream with cereal sprinkled on top cost 17$.  Can you believe that?  To me, these desserts had a McDonalds-like quality, which is totally fine at the right price-point.  If I had paid 6 or 7$ for these, I would have felt okay about it.  But at 17$ I felt like a chump.  Do not recommend.

I seen this place on tic tok so I decided to try it out. It’s in Decatur which is about 40 mins from my house. I took my kids and when I say it was soooo worth the drive! The icecream without the toppings is so flavorful and fresh that I could eat it all day.  They had sooo many flavors of cereals and different toppings, even old school cereals that I haven’t seen since I was a kid! I can eat cereal all day so you know I was in my own mini heaven. The line was long but it didn’t take too long to get to the front of the line. The lobby is a bit small but it was clean and they had board games for the kids to play. The staff was very nice and helpful! If your looking for good and fun icecream you must stop by this place!
