Been wanting to try and happened to be in area. Ribs were dry and the flavor was faint but they were at least tender. The aroma was good. Sides needed a little more flavor. They weren't bland but needed something more. Even the tea and lemonade needed a smidge more sugar. Presentation was niceFood: 3/5

Hadn't been here in years, and I specifically wanted ribs. I stopped in & ordered a half rack. It came with Texas toast, anf it was a big piece, but the bread was soft. No issue there. Despite other reviews, my ribs were very tender, cooked well. However, I just felt like they could've been more flavorful. Maybe that batch wasn't seasoned hard enough. They weren't bad, but I've just had better in the area. I didn't get sides on this trip. I'll come back to try more though.

We went for a working lunch and overall the food and service were good. We ordered:  1. The city sampler - overall, the brisket was seasoned well and tasty when paired with the city bbq sauce. 4.5/5   2. Pulled pork was also really good and flavorful. 4.5/5   3. Sausage - nothing to write home about, pretty good but standard flavors. 4/5   4. Smoked turkey - great texture, decent flavor. I just don't enjoy turkey. 3.5/5    5. Fries - these are fresh potatoes prepared and fried. Always delicious.  6. Hush puppies - flavorful, great crust on the outside. 4.5/5   7. Collard greens - pretty good, decent flacor and texture. 4/5   8. Fried okra - these were delicious. They were not overly breaded, and okra was the star 5/5   9. Banana pudding - not the best, the banana pudding was a little too processed, tasting to my liking. 3.5/5   Great chain bbq restaurant would recommend if you haven't tried.

Went Sunday night around 7pm, no line but busy atmosphere. I waited 3-5 minutes at the register before being acknowledged.  Ordered the 'More cowbell' and fried okra. Waited 20 minutes to be told "No Texas toast" as they handed me the order. Sandwich sloppy, half cut, one 1 slice of bell pepper, and didn't even fit the bun. Great flavor on the turkey, but poor plating. Okra had ZERO seasoning, Luke warm, definitely not cooked to order.  I had a taste for this place for a few weeks, even drove out of my way to come here. Very disappointed.

$22.66 is a lot of money for brisket and not much of it. The brisket was room temperature- not even warm. Ribs were just warm enough. Good flavor and tenderness on brisket. Ribs were tight but OK. Collards barely warm too. Flavor ok. Been here before and had good experience but this time was very disappointing. I can’t justify that price to quality/quantity value ratio especially at lunch. Bummer.

Great selection for non-pork eaters. Sauces are on point, and the staff was incredibly nice. If I'm ever in this part of town again I'm stopping by for sure.Food: 5/5

The cashier was dismissive and seemed annoyed with my questions about the menu items. Also, my smoked and fried wings were undercooked, chewy, and pink inside. This was my first visit, and I was starving smh. I would like to try it again but I was thoroughly disappointed especially after spending $23 total and I only ate the okra. I also ordered green beans and okra for the sides. Drinks not included, all items are a La cart

I really did like this place. The staff was friendly. The food was good. The place was pretty clean. I only had two issues. The first is that some of the food came out cold and some came out warm. The other thing is a lot of the utensils looked dirty. They were covered in spots. That being said I really did like the food and would try it again

I wouldn't visit again...the mac and cheese was unseasoned the beans had too much barbecue sauce and the ribs were okay at bestFood: 2/5

We had City BBQ caterer company luncheon at peach State austell on Friday. Miss Kay arrived set up on time text she was very professional, polite and didn’t mind me taking a photo of her good side, and she delivered us some amazing food. Everyone had good things to say they were licking their fingers and wanted more. It was amazing. 10 stars.
