This mall used to be really crowded and busy back in 1999. They had really good stores and good deals but now the mall is dead and empty. I don’t know how the management are keeping up their business. It’s so sad how the place went from busy and great to ghetto. Plus I don’t feel safe shopping at the citadel and have no plans of shopping there. I’d rather drive up to Lone Tree and shop at park meadows or 29th street in Boulder.

I want to LOVE this mall but I am just in LIKE with it. 

There is just a general threatining ambiance that this mall exudes. In my many visits I never recalled seeing a single security guard on patrol either indoors or outdoors.

Also whomever was responsible for allowing a Hooters as a tenant, should take a serious look at the type of clientele they are trying to attract. Hooters is NOT a family friendly restaurant.

This mall may not be at the prime of its time, but absolutely is always going to be the mall I go to. The shops here are great, the food options are good and the location is  convenient. It is disappointing to see so many vacant slots and the store so empty at times. The restrooms are kept up and are often remodeled also the dining spaces are kept clean too. I hope to see this mall around for many more years to come!

Definitely not the best mall I have ever been to but it is still a great mall. You can find everything you need here except for some more exotic/rare items.

My favorite place is the comic book store. The artist who does the drawings in there is simply amazing!

The citadel mall is by far the better of the two malls in town. They could use a few more shops here and there, but overall they are a solid option for a shopping trip. The food court is nicely done and there is a Hooters if burgers or wings are more your speed.
