Very dedicated officers. There are good and bad anywhere you go of course, but as a whole, the CPD know how to do their job well. The MCSO is also a well trained bunch. Together, they provide the city with one of the largest police forces in the state. Anyone who has been on the less favorable side of the system will agree.. these guys are smart and capable. Their presence is strong always. A lot of structure, possibly because of the high number of former soldiers in the force. Thank you too all Officers who have integrity, and thanks for keeping this booming metropolitan's streets safe. Criminal beware, the county jail isn't fair. But to law abiders, you have nothing to fear.

I appreciate all your kindness and patience with me, thanks! I know you'll are busy but it was appreciated when you took a moment to explain politely.🤗 Especially when I've called 911 scared that someone was breaking into my house at night and police officers checked around my property and patrolled. Once it turned out to be a squirrel in my garage...😣😅

 I was having a rash of vandalism; someone in my neighborhood would poke holes into my tires, scratch my car, damage and bend the rim of my vehicles, steal and break ornaments and windows and Clarksville police increased patrols in my area and not only did I feel safer but the vandalism stopped which was good because despite police giving me a case number I could not afford to take to my insurance company because it would raise my premium too high and I was left paying out of pocket to repair my old vehicles and have transportation to work.

 I believe our police department works very hard and I admire that; especially in these tumultuous times where a growth  in socioeconomic disparity has lead to an increase in criminal activity. Clarksville having a younger population in relation to seniors does not help matters-for youth are impulsive due to the lack of development in their prefonteral cortex.

 As the economic recession grows I can only expect we'll see a spike in criminal activity especially since Clarksville is bisected with an important interstate. It makes me feel better to know we can rely on our police department to anticipate and prevent criminal behavior.

Basically, I just want to say thank you.🌷😊🌿

You put your lives on the line each day and we do appreciate your sacrifice; from helping the community settle minor disputes to resolving more serious issues. It's all significant!

Always a great experience when working with the professional officers of CPD. I have lived here for over 20 years and never had a bad experience.

My three year old daughter walked out the house without me knowing because, my alarm that's on the house battery was dead so I couldn't hear the door being open. She walked out the house with out me knowing. When I finally walked to the front living she wasn't there, dingo go searching the rooms in the house, proceed to the back door & seen it open as a mother a freaked then, but I preceded to look in our back yard she wasn't there. I look in the once more called my husband to let him know what's has happen & I call the police I panic scare & tense. The police come to a mother that's already scares that her kid is missing with a entire attitude. I have two daughter I had no clue my daughter had walk up a block to some else house. He was very unprofessional to me. I freaked out my head thinking someone kidnapped her or anything. The polices were very unprofessional. I WILL NEVER CALL THEM AGAIN!!!
