Technically full, Patricia worked with me and discussed our needs for a 1-night stop and was able to accommodate us on short notice. Very quiet and nice historical setting with water on 3 sides. The bath and shower are clean, as is the (short) beach. It's nice that access to beach chairs is included. The old officers club (I believe) is now the Paradise Ocean Club and had a lot of activity, good food and cold drinks (and pool, beach volleyball, etc). The Colonies provides access passes to the Paradise as well. No complaints, but one detractor is there are only a few trees for shade at the camp sites.

Nice place, but very small. Can only hookup about 2 dozen RV's at a time. It's best to call ahead to see availability. Tent camping has more space though. There's a camp store on site to get your small items that you forgot to bring...AGAIN!

When we arrived on Monday May, 9th 2016 we had high hopes for this park. Monday through Thursday were good when the weather cooperated so we had about two days we could enjoy without rain (not complaining). My primary dissatisfaction was with Friday through Sunday. ▪️The rules clearly state dogs must be on leash, we had to deal with two off leash dogs, I confronted the pet owners and received a snotty answer from one and compliance from the other so I had to get the park owner involved. This just puts everyone in a bad mood, so Friday was uncomfortable. ▪️ The RV park rules state no loud music is aloud however the owner rents shelters at the park and evidently they have no rules at all. For 7 hours Sunday we had loud bass music from a professional sound system pointed at the park ruining what would have otherwise been a beautiful day. We spoke with the front desk and they refused to make them turn it off. We called the police and they said this county does not have noise ordinances. I encourage you not to visit this park unless you bring ear plugs and those wouldn't have helped in this case. My family will never return to this county or this park, we will spend our money at a park that values its clients.

A really pretty park. The staff is a minus 10. Our reservations made over a month in advance were not there when we arrived. In stead of trying to help us have a pleasant solution to the problem they did the opposite. We could stay 2 nights in one spot then move somewhere else for the rest of our stay. Finally we just left. This was not our first time at the park. We were repeat customers. Just don't make reservations if a woman answers the phone.
