Came for breakfast. Now the best place in Summit for breakfast is the Summit diner so I can’t compare these two or else it would be a 1 star.  I think the owner is going for something a little different. But the name of the place is called Committed Pig. So if your going to do breakfast be committed.  Hash browns like McDonald’s serve is not committed. Cooking the sausage in the fryer is not breakfast food.  The prices are a little high for the potions.  Coffee was good.  So if you  have kids maybe this is the place for breakfast.  Until they cook and have real breakfast food then this isn’t the place for me and my wife.

The Committed Pig is one of my go-to restaurants for casual business meetings during the week. The staff is friendly and the food is very good. I like their menu and specials because they have unique combinations of comfort food/burgers as well as breakfast plates like french toast.

Didn't stop in to eat. Didn't stop in for a cup of good coffee. There was a large apartment building fire in Summit that brought me to this fine establishment.

Owner and manager of this restaurant closed his establishment bright and early on a recent Sunday morning (new years eve day), welcoming all the displaced apartment dwellers, fire personnel and Red Cross disaster workers inside with free coffee and breakfast as emergency plans were made and clients served.

This restaurant is now my go-to place for breakfast. And I will always remember the staff's welcoming support on a very cold NJ new years eve day. This from a very grateful Red Cross disaster responder

Fantastic food. I highly recommend the grilled cheese and tomato soup. It's more like a tomato bisque, but it's simple, delicious, and just want you need when you're craving comfort food or are coming in from a cold day. Pricing is also very reasonable for what you get.

Cookie dough pancakes were great, had a side of bacon with it too. My friends loved it as well! Would definitely return.
