Absolute Garbage

I consider myself to be a reasonable and well-tempered person, but this place brings out the worst in people. Lived here for about five years, and we finally moved out this past month and am happily living in a new neighborhood. Here are a couple of reasons why this place is garbage:

1. Mice - Some of the other reviews mention this, but this place is infested with mice. The pest control guy came and all he did was glue the carpet to the wall. No surprises there when we find a nest of young baby mice underneath our shelf a couple of weeks later. Oh, and they give you some glue traps at the main office, because they're so nice and care about your stay. My father and I have killed 10 mice total ourselves with a stick and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about when I say you can hear the mice squeaking while you sleep. 

2. Parking - Good luck trying to park here after 7, ha! Real quick, wanted to point out that the new management is working to fix this by...RE-DRAWING the parking spaces. Great, now unless you drive a honda fit, good luck parking your car even in permit areas. There are people coming to sell various goodies and take up the resident parking areas. This needs to be enforced and regulated.

3. Garbage - Absolutely disgusting, people from different neighborhoods dump their trash here and it fills up within days while the management solves the problem by adding ANOTHER dumpster right next to it. 

4. New Management - We left maybe three or four months after the "new" management came in. This new management sent a bill of $300 after move-out to pay for a carpet change and other damages. They are justified because PG County allows them to. Are you kidding me? There are acceptable charges and there are exorbitant ones. Sure,  a chip in the paint and some stains on the wall? That's what the deposit is for. A little over? Fine, I will gladly pay for it. Stop making previous tenants pay for the necessities of new tenants. They have absolutely 0 scruples and have never heard of Good Will. 

There is a reason there is like a $500 referral bonus to get someone to live there. Please, listen to me and all these other previous tenants and look elsewhere.

The stupid apartment i have ever seen in my life. If you wanna live happy life don't decide to come to this apartment. I cant mention all problems the so called the community at arbor vista. Just many.

If I could give a 0/5 stars oh how I would. I lived in Arbor Vista for 7 years, at first everything was great, but throughout the years the staff became so rude, they change parking permits soo often, it's annoying. They made parking spaces way too small.  I finally decided to get out of this place, they charged me for every single thing, they charged me for carpet stains, I been living in the apartment for 7 years what do they expect for the carpet to be brand new ? They charged for things that I kept complaining for them to come fix. They are very rude to people. They told me to clean the apartment before leaving or else I would be charged. I cleaned the apartment very well and I still got charged $300 after spending 3 hours cleaning the apartment, what was the point of cleaning if I still got charged a lot. Please think twice before renting one of these apartments it's tough having to deal with ignorant people. These staff members get an office with a name plate and swear they are so powerful.

Is not a place to live in ,they have mouse and Cockroach. I live there for 9 months but I had to move before the end of my lease because there's nowhere to park , I had to pack out before the end of my lease because in 9 months I paid more than $1,000 of parking tickets

RUN...PLEASE RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN FROM THIS PLACE!!!!

Where do I start... the parking SUCKS, I have a parking permit but everytime I come back home from school or work I can never find parking, street parking are the worst, it's like cars never move it's always full like people don't work or something, old non working cars are park in spaces and they are never moved. My car gets towed all the time because of stupid reasons. I have paid over $700 towed fees and over $1500 of tickets just 6 months living here, my car got booted because of parking tickets.More than 30 mice live with me running all over my kitchen and bedroom, I'm so scared to go in my kitchen at night because as soon as you turn the light on they run all over your feet and jump off counters trying to escape I'm being serious, roaches everywhere. I hate this place, please don't move here. If you have overnight guests then this place it's not for you. They will get towed or get tickets because they can't find street parking, they don't offer guests parking. I'm about to break my lease because I have tried to manage but I just can't. Moving here was the biggest mistake I've ever made and I strongly regret it.
