Worth every penny... keep reading. Only four stars to get the attention of those who are digging a little deeper into the reviews... I give The Confluence a full 5 stars, actually. I once lived in the area and have been to many weddings, receptions, corporate retreats and parties there. The facilities and and grounds are never less than amazing. 

Now, all that said, you can probably find somewhere cheaper,  but if you want everything to be perfect, look no further. If you plan your event at The Confluence, rest assured: your money, and most importantly, your time, cannot be better spent.

Over the years, I have gone to multiple weddings and other events at The Confluence. It is one of the most beautiful venues in the state. From the overlook, to the pond, to the rustic barn, it’s a dream. There are modern, well decorated cabins to rent and plenty of room to camp if you like to camp. There are trails to explore if you have the time. It’s a perfect place for kids, as there is ample room to run around and play.

The people who run the Confluence are unfailingly gracious, wonderful hosts. It’s always a pleasure to see them in action.

Excellent venue for our wedding reception! The farm is beautiful and they went out of their way to accommodate all of our needs. Our families stayed in the two houses on the premises and loved their time there even on the days before the wedding. The overlook out onto the river canyon is phenomenal. We had a great experience, I highly recommend the Confluence Resort!

Met two business partners here for a fall planning session.  The lodging was quiet, clean and exactly what we were looking for.  As 2 of us were from the coast of North Carolina, we thoroughly enjoyed the hiking and topography.  The fall foliage was stunning.  We enjoyed the hospitality so much that we have already scheduled for this up coming fall.

This is a spot I have worked (Dj) many times.  This is an absolute perfect venue for your wedding, many options and a very friendly and qualified staff.   Pervis, the owner, is as good as gold.  He knows how to fix any situation.  They are equipped for any weather (which equals an easy fix if you have rain at your wedding.)  The whole experience is like nothing else I know of.  He even fixed my flat while I was there working.  It's not the cheapest option, but if you want cheap, go to a courthouse.
