Story

Fresh made food with fresh and local ingredients. This is not where you will find traditional "pub" food, we have a delicious lunch and dinner menu with dishes from all around the world. The way we think is simple; food is essential to life therefore make it good. That's our goal and we're doing a pretty good job so far!

This will be a go-to place for dining in the Sturbridge area. Friendly place and excellent food. I had bangers and mash. The sausages were lean and tasty, and the gravy tasted like it was scratch made. My wife had the cottage pie, which is like shepherd's pie but made with beef instead of lamb. One of my pet peeves is when a menu says shepherd's pie when the restaurant is actually serving cottage pie. If they don't know the difference, I don't have high hopes for the dish. The Copper Stallion serves a very good cottage pie. It was about an even ratio of potatoes and meat, and she raved about it. If you're around Sturbridge MA and looking for good pub food, head to The Copper Stallion.

English style food. Pub type atmosphere. They have a small deck to sit out on in the summer.

Sat down and ordered pretty quickly. It was 3:45 so place was not busy, only 2 other parties there. Ordered salads, a sandwich, and fish and chips. After waiting 30 MINUTES with no interaction with our waitress I flagged her down and asked about our food. We were told "they were working on it". 15 min later we got our food which was OK at best. Waitress did not seem the least bit concerned about how long the food took but had plenty of time to talk with the bartender. 45 minutes for mediocre food and terrible service. Not recommended
