Worked with Maryellen Rodriguez to try and get someone to sublet or take over the lease of my apartment.  She was a horrible agent from the beginning.  The pictures she used (that she asked me to send, she didn't photograph anything professionally herself) looked horrible on the web and the info sheet she made up.  She also expected ME - the seller - to pay her commission.  This is simply not how the rental real estate market is handled.  The buyers pay for the broker's commission.  She didn't do anything to sell the property.  She never reached out to the building agents to schedule showings.  Any time I asked her what she was doing, there was never any real plan.  There is too much competition to be so bad at being a broker.  Fired her quickly and much happier with my new agent.
