Dr. Bolz was 1 hour late for an 8:30am meeting. He didn't ask what the problem was with my knee. He just had me lay down and began manipulating the knee while telling me I need a new knee! Told me my hip needed work. I think he just saw me twisting to avoid the pain he was exerting on my knee. And that was the good part!! I've called to complain 2 times. Left a message each time. STILL, NO ONE HAS CALLED ME BACK!!! Now, I went in 2015 to see what options I had. NEVER saw a doctor, just a PA. Anyway, she explained everything and the Suplax lasted about 18 months!

Okay, my hubby's surgery was today. Still not sure how I feel about his current doctor. Lacks bed side manner and very lackadaisical about recovery. His cadence is very to the point, which I do appreciate, but not informative enough. Always feels rushed and annoyed. His staff; EXCELLENT! Nothing like him. Where the doctor fail to communicate, inform, and assure: the staff at CORE Inst. and medical team at St. Johns made up for IT. Oh and by the way, along with fear, it was this doctors behavior that gave my husband pause to have the surgery, making the problem worst. PT starts on Monday. Will keep informed.

I saw both Dr. Markel (knee) and Dr. Eller (feet) earlier this year and recently had a total knee replacement. Their office is very efficiently run and well staffed to provide personal attention. Everyone is very professional and helpful. I am completely satisfied with my experience under their care. I was able to walk nearly pain-free on my new knee just hours after the surgery. There was some pain and swelling at the surgical site, but the knee itself is, tight, stable and pain-free. Nothing went wrong and I would strongly recommend these doctors and this office to anyone in pain and needing a knee replacement. I also did my post-op Physical Therapy with the team at the Novi Core Institute location and was extremely pleased with the personal attention, help and advice provided. While no PT after a knee replacement is painless or easy, this team worked hard to ensure that I had every opportunity to have the best recovery experience. I cannot thank them enough for all their care and personal attention. I would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for an excellent re-hab experience.

Pretty fantastic, all things considered. I broke my femur into three pieces and was transferred to a surgeon from the Core Institute after having a titanium rod implanted. They monitored my progress well and their physical therapy program was effective in getting me back moving again quickly. I really have no complaints.

Complete tear of the Supraspandaeous Rotator cuff muscle. Dr. Bak was excellent! Everything that he said would happen during and after surgery was spot on!! Office visits were great; timely; courteous staff! Office was a little under construction/remodel at the time but the staff was very diligent. I would highly recommend Dr. Bak and staff a hundred times over & twice on Sunday! :-)
