No lesbians allowed. Went in with my girlfriend, we were caught staring at each other in the line and when we went in to pay cover, we were denied entry without any explanation. A friend of ours with us even pointed out the look of disgust from the bouncers at us. Really horrible way to treat people trying to come into your “gay” club to have a good time. Don’t waste your time here, better go somewhere where they respect people and there are no bigots.

OK, first of all, I like to dance but I'm fussy about the music. It has to be inspiring and nice to dance to or I just don't feel it. Systematically, they keep playing the most uninspiring music. Even worse, they've noticed I'm a terrific dancer and played some of the most mean spirited jokes on me regarding that, a few times saying "you dance nicely we want you to dance" and then RIGHT AFTER they say that, the DJ literally starts playing the worst dance music you could ever possibly want to dance to, so that every time they tell me they want to see me dance, I simply don't do it. Night before last was even worse. Music was worse to dance to than usual, and I noticed nobody WAS hardly dancing to it, not surprisingly. I ask about the DJ. The DJ is in a location where you can't talk to them or give suggestions, naturally. You just have to take what they give you and that's that. That particular night was even worse. I go sit down in one of the chairs. Instantly they come to me and announce that is a private area and someone paid money to have it made private. I objected, if it's private, there is no sign or anything making it seem private, do they just go tell EVERYONE who sits there "this is private, we are going to kick you out?" Well, AFTER they kicked me out was when they suddenly put up the thing cordoning it off so it is obviously private. Not before. They were extremely nasty about it and tried to pretend they had done it before I sat there when they hadn't. I started videotaping things. A bunch of other individuals there start telling me I'm out of line for objecting to the shoddy treatment. I mention this nastiness strikes me as a bit too systematic and repetitive for it not to be something tied to intimidation over me having been a victim/witness to some pretty serious organized crime. Actually, it's interesting because they suddenly decided to play that stunt with regard to pretending a portion of the club was a private area RIGHT AFTER I spoke to someone about some of the crimes perpetrated not only against me, but I spoke also of how many of the rapists and other criminals who victimized me were blackmailed over their abuse of me and used as guinea pigs for medical experiments involving advances in medical engineering, some of which I got to actually see. It is also true that this is one of several providence area businesses who have discriminated against me and threatened me in extraordinarily nasty ways, tied to what I am a victim of/witness to. Calls to police in Providence by me suggested they were in on it, and they merely took my calls regarding victim/witness intimidation as an excuse to verbally abuse me over the phone in nasty if childish ways. Something which is part of a history of abuse perpetrated against me by police -- and is also tied to the medical experiments done on the perpetrators of crimes committed against me. You can't blackmail rapists and other criminals unless you successfully intimidate a victim such as myself. I mean, they won't submit themselves to being medically experimented on unless they feel sure the victim has been intimidated well enough so as to guarantee them impunity. And that is precisely what large portions of the business community, police, and social scene in Providence is perpetrating against me. I might consider at some point uploading some of the videos of my conversations with various individuals berating me or otherwise mistreating and abusing me with respect to what I mentioned regarding being a victim of gay rape. I'll just say now, it is very similar to the nastiness you can see on display in the documentary "The Hunting Ground" exposing the abuse and mistreatment of rape victims on college campuses.

I used to really like this place. It's Friday night and they are having a horrible drag show. It's almost 1am. My friends came down from Boston and I took them here. Next time I'm going to Ego. We wanted to dance. The show sucked. The show should probably be at 9 or 10pm not at 12am when people want to dance.

I do love coming here when I visit providence! However the drag shows always ruin it for me. They go on for too long with really bad audio. You can’t hear what the queens are saying so it just sounds like really bad white noise when they talk. By the time the show was over we had about one hour to dance the rest of the night.
