I bought a gown from this store for an important event and paid for the alterations to be done there as well. The day of the event, right before leaving to head out, I put the dress on and it had a very noticeable hole in the material below the zipper that never got fixed. I panicked and had to stitch the dress myself (I am not a good sewer at all) but I had no other option since we had to leave in 5 minutes. I brought the dress back a couple days later in hopes they would give me a partial refund for the alteration price since there was a hole in the dress and the manager refused to refund me any money and said it was partially my fault because I didn't try the dress on when I picked it up....She only offered to fix my dress free of charge which doesn't do me any good since the event is already over....the tailor actually laughed and made fun of my stitching on top of it all. So not only did they not refund me anything, she attempted to make me feel bad by saying  he put a lot of work into the dress...which is what I paid them for .Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed with their lack of customer service and their overall rudeness after this being their fault. I will definitely not be shopping there again.

I have shopped in both locations and I have never left disappointed! I have found many things from formal wear to casual clothing! The staff is very helpful and welcoming.. I will certainly continue shopping at The Dressing Room Boutique

I have shopped at The Dressing Room for years and have always left feeling beautiful and well taken care of. The team in Wallingford is so helpful and takes care of me every time I'm in! This place has always been and will always be the best Connecticut boutique to shop at!

Purchased a hand bag for my wife as a gift. Elvis assured me she could make a return if it didn't fit her needs, even printing a gift receipt.  Didn't mention they will only return for store credit and were unwilling to order what she wanted from the same maker.  Thumbs down, you got my money and I'm less than thrilled.  I feel they undervalue their customers as they were rude about giving store credit.

Always a great place to go if you need a gift for your mom sister or significant other. Christine and Elvis are awesome, and they always help me find the perfect thing!
