I'm new to North Carolina. I haven't lived here for a year yet (as of writing this review) but have done a lot of exploring in the area to find places to impress my folks with when they are in town. The Eddy is easily my favorite restaurant I've found. The food is incredible, and the location is beautiful. What else could you ask for?

Be prepared for a bit of a wait if you are going at a popular time. People in the area know how great it is!

I love that the food is grown  local, everything is so fresh. The veiw outside on the balcony is awesome. Scene of the river and kids playing below in yard. Didn't have our 11 year old with us but I'm sure it would have been nice for her to go play outside instead of using electrics for entertainment.

Tried this place out because I didn’t want to drive immediately after visiting the brewery below. Lucky me!
At first glance it doesn’t seem to be much more than a really cool pub, but don’t be deceived. The food is delicious. I got sourdough bread as a starter and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich for main and they were to die for. They put thought into their ingredients and processes to come out with dishes that pack flavor.

A very unenjoyable evening. Arrived at 5:30 with a 6 top for dinner. Hostess informed us it would be 25 to 30 minute wait because they were short staffed on servers. We were seated at 6:05, server came at 6:15 to take our orders.  Two sets of four tops were seated after us but received their orders before ours. Finally at 6:47 meals arrived only to discover that one hamburger was so underdone, it was inedible. Hamburger replaced 8 minutes later and of course it was underdone also.. Finally done, underwhelmed, and wanted to pay the check. Just told the server to split the entire bill in 3 parts instead of separate checks, and charged one credit card twice. Bad wait, bad service, bad food, bad goodbye.

The staff was attentive and the food was delicious! They have standard pub fare in addition to more unique dishes. Really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere!
