I am Gladys (a member of Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous) since August 1, 2017 and was invited to AWOL by Ms Danielle Obiorah. We started the official meeting in August 2017. Tonight, while at a meeting and for no apparent reason, when I attended the meeting, Danielle abruptly came up to me in a threatening and belligerent manner and asked me to leave. I've been attending for weeks and have not done anything or caused any disruption to meeting. Matter-of-fact, Ms. Obiorah caused the scene and ruckus tonight. No one of her demeanor should be leading any new member of Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous. She called the police at 911 and asked me to be escorted away. It was both embarrassing and harassing. I have a right to a public program such as FA and I am planning on speaking about it on social media and finding out the legal parameters I can exercise because of her behavior. She was in my private space and I felt humiliated and as though she could have physically harmed me as she was so irrational. I want to make a formal complaint and I want a public apology from her. If not, I will make sure that this matter is handled in another way. How can you teach people about character, making amends and all that FA teaches, use their 'brand' under the auspice of and AWOL program and do what Danielle did to me. They’d done this before in the past with other individuals. I asked to speak with her at the close of meeting when she approached me very erratically and in a 'bullying' stance, and she said ‘no’…and was in my personal space in a threatening manner. She said she was calling 911, and I said she should because I'd done nothing wrong and had a right to be in this meeting as any other person in the human population. I would expect to hear from someone immediately because I will be taking further action promptly (if not). This lady is insane and borderline crazy. How can she represent anybody in any kind of leadership with this sort of behavior? Shame on her and she needs way more than a food program...she needs true spirituality and a bit of psychological help. She did it in a public forum...so I am exposing her in a public forum.
