Beware of this place!! I would give them a fat zero if I could. Customer service is horrible at this place, there needs to be a change in management. These people do not follow FTC rules (Federal Trade Commission). They harass until they get what they want. They call numerous times a day and call relatives or that are not even references when loan was made.. How do they get this information? Something sneaky going on here! Nobody in their right mind would give another relatives info out to anyone especially debt collectors. Bonneville Collections has better customer services. This finance company are no better than those loan places that charge you 300% interest. They give loans to everyone even when they know you can't afford it.... Back to the customer service issue. Corporate needs to take a look at this place, they treat people bad and with no respect. They have the worst customer service I've ever experienced. There's no empathy for anyone. They will screw you any way they can. I'm writing on behalf of a relative that had a loan with them that has gone through a rough time financially and was trying to work with them. It's like they make it their point to terrorize you. We have filed a complaint with FTC and submitted to the better business bureau. I can't believe anyone giving this Ogden company 5 stars! They must be friends of the employees there. I suggest you go the Layton office and speak to their manager instead , she's more understanding and kind. But then again, the over all point of this company is to make money off you. I understand it's a business but they need to treat people with respect. I would suggest finding a loan else where other than the Equitable Finance Company. Stay away from the Ogden office if you can. Their CEO needs to put someone in there undercover to see what really happens. But then again he probably doesn't care either and encourages this behavior.

These horrible people threaten you with sending your account to collections if your late by just 1 day on your first payment. Then harass you every day till you make your payment arrangement. Wish I could refinance my products thru another company who isnt hostile when I'm talking to them. Maybe its because I'm not Hispanic....

They've been great to me. Helped me get a car when I really needed it. Works with me on payments if I m going to be late. Haven't had a problem with them. Once I pay off this one I will be getting another one

If I could give them no stars I would. These people are ridiculous. They threatened my daughter that if she did not come in and make a payment that there would be a warrant out for her arrest. Since when can loan places put out a warrant.??? They hassle family members that she never even put down as references. Something needs to be done.

If I could give them 0 stars I would you make arrangements with their boss she says yes, then turns around has one of the employees keep calling harrassing you even thou the boss gives you ok then that employee tells you that ain't going to work. Why say yes then something different. Wonder why was it because it was 5:30 & office was about to close and just wanted to say yes but she gave me account number and verified on the phone again the day would come in and do payment before hanging up. Plus coming to place where I live. A person can only do so much but is trying. Even thou what said was said still calls
