Story

“No longer need residents of St. Louis look beyond their own city for the finest in entertainment.”

This statement was coined by the William Fox Circuit of Theatres, and it still holds true today as the Fabulous Fox Theatre presents the ‘Best of Broadway’ in St. Louis. More than 15 million people have passed through the brass doors of the Fox to see Broadway shows, Vegas performers, top pop, rock and comedy concert acts, and classic movies.

We went to see a performance of A Christmas Carol.
The play was fantastic.
The theater employees were also friendly. We took our two children and as we walked in the suggested we get booster seats for them so that it was easier for them to see. This was very nice as usually they end up sitting in our laps to see over the people's heads in front of us. 
They all were more than willing to help us find our seats and also had friendly chatter while showing us to our seats.
The children loved all the details to the curtain and walls.

From the minute I walked in the door, I was in awe. The carvings, jewels, statues, hangings, carpets, and staircases were all beautiful. I hadn't even got seated yet and I was already in love with the place. When it was finally time to be seated and I got to see the magnificent chandelier and the other carvings and notched out areas for lighting it was just as beautiful. The orchestra was perfection. We came to see Rogers and Hammerstein The King and I, it was amazing. I wasn't quite sure I would like it as much as when Deborah Kerr and Yul Brynner set fire to it, but it was amazing. There really is something to be said for seeing a musical live and in this setting I'm not sure much would have ruined it for me. Everyone needs to visit here at least once in their life.

This is the premier venue for theater in St. Louis. Every inch of this place and every tiny detail has a story associated with it. I would highly recommend getting here early and walking around. The architecture is astounding and ornate. I also recommend taking the tour. You get to go underground through the tunnels beneath the venue and backstage. Yes, there are many more stories there as well.

This place is so beautiful. If you have never been, this is a must do when in St. Louis. Just walk around and look. From wall to wall, floor to ceiling, just amazing.

Went to see Jerry Seinfeld at the Fox. I had purchased the tickets very last minute on stub hub. Unfortunately I could not print them off and went into the box office wondering if I was going to have to buy tickets from them. No issues, and couldn't have asked for better service. She took my receipt, got a managers authorization and handed me the tickets. I was so relieved. Was escorted to the seats with ease, seats were roomy enough to be comfortable with a good amount of leg room.

Although Jerry was great, its more than the performance when you go to the fox. Its really in the experience.

Always a great place for a night out. The architecture of the building alone entertains while waiting for the show to begin. Stunning. It makes you feel that you've entered a different era.
