Awesome food! Best service! We visited for Easter Brunch today for the first time. The food is so so good. Portions are huge and prices are reasonable for the quality. Such a quaint atmosphere and we were visited by the owner a few times. I can't believe we missed out on this hidden gem for  so many years but now we will be returning and returning often. 5 hungry tummies very satisfied!

Hidden gems? This one is the biggest, shiniest, gems around. The Fig Tree is its own bakery, they serve locally-sourced coffee and milk, and their core cuisine is Mediterranean. The Mediterranean Morning breakfast - consisting of eggs, humous, and skillet potatoes with a fantastic spice blend on top - is one of my favorite breakfasts in the KC area. The staff are fantastic; no matter how busy things get, they treat every customer like a regular. The baked goods are all exquisite (I highly recommend the baklava) and they even take custom orders at times. It’s not expensive, kid friendly, vegetarian friendly, family-owned, and in a good location; what more could you want? Can’t wait for my hangover-cure brunch this weekend.

I love this place.. very good atmosphere, great food, and great treats.. everything here is worth trying and this is my favorite Saturday afternoon hang out!!

Food is always good. Lentil soup is even better if you squeeze fresh lemon juice into it. Staff is very nice.

The service speed can sometimes be hit or miss, but they're always very polite and will get you what you ask for. The food is very good and has many great options for various allergies, religions, and diets. It's a great if you want a healthy but also very tastey breakfast or lunch for a pretty reasonable price.
