This is my second time here and I would like to return several times over. The second time I went with my husband as we had a gift certificate for a deluxe rendezvous for two; this includes a private whirlpool and side by side massage. The private room for the whirlpool is great and calming which gave my husband and I time to unwind and relax our tense muscles. The whirlpool has settings to make it cooler or warmer. Then we were able to have time in the tranquility room to rehydrate and have fruit or light cookies. The deluxe Swedish massage that followed was perfect. As a physical therapist myself, I needed someone who was a little aggressive on my muscles and Crystal delivered. Great hands! Overall excellent experience!

I had been preparing myself for an old outdated place based on the reviews but I was very pleasantly surprised. It’s well kept and clean. The staff was very helpful and polite.  The whirlpool bath was relaxing and then I enjoyed my stress relief massage with Jackie. Definitely will return.

if you have all the free time in the world then by all means this is the spa for you!
If you enjoy showing up to appointments, just to be called a liar and wasting an hour of your time, then this is the place for you!
If you enjoy being lied to then you are in for a treat

1) Appointments made mean nothing... I showed up for an appointment just to be told I had none(I rushed out of work to try to get help for the tension in my shoulder)... 
2) they tried to tell me my husband was a liar; when he then drove to the spa to talk to them, they tried to deflect and just said suddenly said they couldn’t service me anyway... 
3) they wasted an hour of my time, plus cost me a necessary service that I would have gotten elsewhere 

 My husband called today at around 12:30 to book me an appointment for later this evening due to extreme tension in my shoulder. I had an injury years ago so stress/cold weather irritates it to a point that the only way to fix it is through a massage. The receptionist on the phone booked a two hour massage starting at 6, the only time left. When I arrived, the woman behind the desk said there was no appointment. When I explained that my husband had just called that day she said that he must have messed up and booked it at the Ramsey location. After calling my husband, who insisted he did not mess up, the woman just stared at me blankly. A woman across the room then asked for my name, look it up on her computer and said the appointment was made for Thursday. She again insisted my husband messed up, which led to another phone call with my husband, who at that point was already on his way to the place. Meanwhile the woman was continuing to insist that he made the mistake and that there were no appointments for tonight besides 1 for 1 hour at 7 with a woman “who said she was getting sick” (aka she wanted to get rid of me). When my husband arrived, they then started calling me a liar and saying I had medical issues and that they couldn’t service me anyway. After all of this, I asked to listen to the recording of the phone call. She went in the back, was gone for another 10 minutes, and THEN asked for the phone number he called from. She then returned to the back to finally listen. When she came back she apologized and said “sir you were correct. We can give you a gift card for the service.” ....after being berated for an entire hour... 

I came here to try and releave stress and the tension in my shoulder.
I left more aggitated and in pain then when I came in.

I went to the spa with the expectation that an appointment meant something. 
I left realizing that not only did appointments not mean anything, but that they will lie and lie and lie and attempt to put the blame on their customers.

Had the most relaxing and calming experience!  It was my first time going to a spa and everything about The Fountain Spa was wonderful including the staff, the decor, the ambiance and especially my masseuse Roberta!  I can't wait to go back!

I'm saddened to give this review.  I have been a loyal customer of the Fountain for years.  I've spent a lot of money there.  This past visit, I splurged on the Ultimate Fountain facial which is supposed to be 80 minutes long.  I added on a lip and eyebrow wax.  Not only did the facial run over and I had dinner reservations, but the woman left me on the table with the collagen mask and eye patches and my hands in parafin and heat gloves for at least 15 minutes.  I was yelling out "HELLO" and no one answered.  Finally I had to get up, find someone, to go find my facialist.  I was contacted the next day to discuss what happened but was unable to answer.  I called back 3 times but the woman who called me was never there.  So I finally got routed to Maureen, who is in charge of the Ramsey location, left a message, and no one ever called me back.  Suffice to say, I won't be returning.  The 2nd star is only because my 2 hour massage/reflexology was heaven, as usual.  Sigh.
