The Free House Pub is located in the historic American Hotel building in downtown Middleton.
We feature 16 draft lines serving a wide spectrum of local and seasonal craft beers, one of the widest arrays of whiskies in the Madison area, a strong wine list and an excellent variety of craft cocktails.
Our traditional American menu consists of favorites like the buffalo chicken wrap, homemade jalapeno poppers, the prime rib melt and a variety of burgers. We are committed to supporting the local economy, and all of our items are carefully crafted using ingredients from local vendors.
The Free House Pub is comprised of three distinct but attached buildings. The historic American Hotel building and the back buildings have been completely renovated while a new bar building was erected to connect the two. We have a beautiful outdoor patio perfect for beautiful days with your friends and family.
