It smells like stale urine at the end of the day. The Daily reports were not correct. They are supposedly taking pictures and putting a report of how your child did that day. The report is supposed to include how well they ate their lunch. My daughter had a picture from her very first day on one report months later, my son's report was sent all the time saying that he ate his entire lunch, but I would have his entire lunch with zero eaten in his lunchbox, and my kids would say they didn't read that book or something that song but they did listen to Kids Bop and dance. Very little academics are taught in the 5 year old class. When I expressed concerns about my 2 children's reports, change in mood towards their teachers, and inconsistency, the owner dismissed my concerns and was basically very rude. Unfortunately this is just an expensive day care with uncaring owners, and both my children are much happier now that they are no longer attending!

My son has been going there a little over a year and I have seen such tremendous growth in both his social and motor skills.  I strongly recommend this specific Goddard School for any child and if I'm lucky enough to have another kid I already know what daycare I'm putting him/her in!  I'm grateful to the staff and owners for investing so much into my son!!

My daughter attended the school for over a year and we were extremely pleased with the high level of care at The Goddard School Matthews. The students were always engaged, teachers attentive to my daughter's needs, great curriculum, detailed updates/messages sent via email every day, clean facilities, and the owner is ON-SITE (similar to Chick-Fil-A business model with owner/operators, not a "principal" hired by a company). Most importantly, my daughter was always engaged/busy and truly happy each and every day I picked her up.

Being a first time mom I had a very difficult time choosing the best care for my son once I returned to work. He was only 3 months old when he started and had a very smooth transition. Goddard has been amazing, they send me pics throughout the week which makes me feel good knowing he's doing well. The teachers are so sweet and truly care for the kids. They are so flexible and are always addressing any concerns I may have and I feel like they coparent with my husband and I. As my son grows and develops new skills they help ensure he excels and gets the proper time to continue to do well and enhance his new abilities. Even though he's only a few months old they still expose him to so much, they read to him all the time they do arts and crafts. All my friends talk about how advanced he is and I honestly believe it's because of the wonderful teachers at Goddard. Our family is blessed to be a part of the Goddard family!
