Enjoyed exploring the many books of the shops with a mix of culinary items, decoration and gifts. I liked their selection and felt that it was just right, not too much or too little. Made a few purchases which we are yet to try. A few minor details, weren't greeted by an employee/owner who was at the door when we came in and felt a little cramped by the size of the aisles in parts of the store.

A surprisingly good selection of cooking, serving and some decorating supplies. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I have a rule that I don't buy from shops when an employee doesn't acknowledge new customers. We had already been out shopping, dressed nicely, so there was no reason to think we weren't there to shop. The worker, probably owner since it's a small business, didn't say a word to me, my husband, or my mother. She was talking with a customer but was not terribly preoccupied. What drove me to review was that the employee took out a step stool to get something for the customer and had to walk past me. Even then, walking past me and me needing to move, she said nothing. Not even excuse me. It doesn't sound like much, but it is such bad business to make a potential customer feel unwelcome. I was very disappointed.
