Cindy & Craig welcome you like family to their beautiful restaurant. Their staff is well versed in their specials of the day, as the Chef cook’s what is local and fresh. Bison is one of my favorites as well as the Guava Mimosas for Sunday Brunch! My friend & I just enjoyed a lovely Thanksgiving Brunch, Lamb Chops & Pork Loin cooked to perfection! (Did I compliment the Chef yet??) Todd, our gracious server, is always smiling, welcoming and happy to accommodate. He remembers you. That’s important, as it makes you want to keep coming back. Just meeting Jana for the first time, and she fit in with this group nicely, providing Cowboy Manhattan’s & Cosmos, with grace and knowledge of local libations. Deserts by Cindy. Always nice, especially the Chocolate Chip Cheesecake....a regular on the menu, but for Thanksgiving Cindy made an Apple Butter 🥧 Pie!! I’m a cook & Baker...I can tell you it was fantastic!! In Citrus County, I rate The Greenhouse Bistro at the top of our list!!

Updated comment. Reading the owner's response tells us we made the right decision to not go back. The owner was more interested in talking about other local businesses with a neighboring table than in getting to know us. We acknowledge we didn't have reservations but if you didn't want us to stay and enjoy a late lunch you should have told us before taking the order. Other reviewers have had the same experience. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO if you are looking for a place where you can relax and enjoy a meal. We felt very rushed to eat and leave so the owners could close the restaurant to take a 2 hour break in the middle of the afternoon. While rushing to finish our meals we had to listen to the owner talking about other local businesses. Between being rushed to eat and listening to unpleasant conversation it spoiled our meals which otherwise we may have enjoyed. WE WILL NOT BE BACK AND WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT.

The greenhouse bistro & venue is a charming place to share a delicious meal in Homassa, fl. We arrived at the parking lot where we were greeted by the cordial owner who directed us to a place where we could launch our kayaks. He gave a map of the High Springs with many points of interest. We enjoyed a lovely afternoon of kayaking , returned to the restaurant for a delicious steak dinner, cooked to perfection. The prices were reasonable, service was great and the restaurant was very quaint and pleasant. We all agreed we will definitely return.

Staff friendly, knowledgeable of menu. Nice atmossphere. Butterfly garden a bonus. After lunch seating outside. Prices steep. My meatless burger had a lot of garlic in it; and I still reek of garlic a day later.

Truly a hidden gem! I had the shrimp and my husband had grouper, both were delicious. The staff was very friendly. The owner came over and told us a little about the history of the beautiful property.
