I love this place!  Dr.Lorber is taking an excellent care of my dog Sammy for years, so when I heard he joined the Helix Pet Hospital, there was no question  for my determination to follow him there, even it means a longer commute. Sammy's case is very complicated and requires intense communication with various specialists ( internist, neurologist, ophtalmologist)to make sure the team is on the same page with his medications , exams, etc. I am a physician -psychiatrist from Europe living in this country for over a decade, and even if I don't practice in the U.S. , I can tell very well the difference between providers . Dr. Lorber does an amazing job of having the treatment team communicating and informed, getting me Sammy's updates ASAP, being so compassionate and caring, knowledgeable about the latest research findings -  I couldn't hope for a better vet ! Our furry animals are our babies , so for all of you beautiful souls and animal lovers who are reading  this review right now, I strongly believe that your baby will be in  best hands. Go Team, Helix Pet Hospital, love ya!

My two fur babies (dogs) and I love Dr. Lorber (the new owner and Veterinarian of Helix Pet Hospital)!

We have been seeing him for 7 years.  I was referred to him by another veterinarian who was getting ready to retire. This vet had nothing but great things to say about him.  True to his word, Dr. Lorber did a thorough exam and put me at ease.  My older rat terrier didn’t have cataracts, but a neurological problem that would slowly cause blindness.  There is no cure for this at this time.  I was so glad I saw him for a second opinion!

When I learned that Dr. Lorber had decided to start his own practice, of course we had to follow him!  My 2 fur babies are older: a 15 year old rat terrier and a 9 year old standard poodle (who was the biggest crush on him!).  It’s a good feeling to know that my dogs love visiting him!

The new Helix Pet Hospital is more of a “boutique” experience, where it’s a very personal experience for you and your pet!

I want to Thank Dr. LORBER and his staff for helping my Cat and I after I thought he might have swallowed a sewing pin. I am a senior on a limited income. They worked with me and was also given a 10% seniot discount, which is greatly aporecited. My cat didn't swallow the pin and all is well. I want to Thank the Dr and staff for their understanding and compassion. Prices to me seem reasonable. Thank you all once again.

Took my 9 year old dog in to get checked out and get all her shots and they were very friendly. The vet explained things very well and the place was nice and clean. The receptionist was very friendly as well. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 star and not 5 is because they take your dog back to some other room when they do anything with them.  I'm used to being able to hold my pet while they are getting shots to ease the stress of a new place and the pain of shots so that I didn't really care for. All in all, I will be coming back.
