Very nice displays that change every so often.  The front desk lady is very knowledgable of the area and also the muesam.  Expect to spend about a hour to a hour and a half inside, 2 and a half hours if you watch the video with the big map.

I love this museum. Spent hours there with 4 kids ages 8 months - 13 years and they all had a blast the whole time. It's rich and engaging.

Really enjoyed our visit and learned a lot about the history of the Shenandoah valley. Docent  was very gracious snd knowledgeable .

Amazing display of various pieces of Valley history from throughout the years. Very interesting place to visit, friendly town, friendly people and beautiful surroundings.

Very well done.  Excellent professional display panels, informative about the area's Native Americans, European settlement, and the Civil War.  Interesting artifacts of pioneer life, early crafts and folk art.
