I would absolutely recommend The Hitchin' Post RV Park and Cabins to all friends, family and anyone looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay.  Like another reviewer mentioned, I too had great customer service experience.  Clay was quick to return a call very late at night and was willing to accommodate any of our needs. I did find humor in his choice of attire at greeting us in the early morning hours. This is probably because I am a girl that wears mud boots and pajamas to early morning outside chores. ;) This is a charming place with charming people.

I was making a trip from CO to San Antonio Texas and hadn't booked my RV spot when I left the house.  Close friends starting working on it for me and found the Hitchin Post and spoke with Clay.  Clay was very helpful and even answered his phone when I called at 2 am when we where pulling in.  The site and facilities are brand new and very clean.  I had both my daughters with me and they really enjoyed the hand made swings and the clean facilties.  I will be back and would recommend this RV/Cabin site to anyone.

We absolutely love this campground! Large sites, brand new facilities including individual shower/ bathrooms (6 total), washer and dryer, dog wash station, playground for the kids, fenced in dog run, propane and firewood on site. As well as Wi-Fi internet (that works!!!)

While there are other campgrounds closer to my husband job location, we chose to stay here due to the incredible, caring, and friendly staff and owners. It truly feels like home! The kids are dreading leaving when it's time. 

Would recommend this campground for anyone passing through, or staying long term!!

We stayed in one of the RV sites overnight on a trip up to Colorado. We were going to stay at a different RV site that was closed when we arrived. We were directed to the Hitching Post by a local resident and arrived around 2100. I called the camp host and asked if we could stay the night even though it was late. They park manager drove out to check us in and was incredibly friendly. The site was level and clean with full hookups. We were very impressed and plan to stay again on our return trip.

We only stayed one night while headed to Wyoming, but we were very impressed and will keep this one bookmarked for future travels. 

The owners were onsite and very friendly.  The navigation we were using had us turned around and obviously in the wrong area... It was  late but the owners answered and talked us through the directions and even waited up to make sure were set up ok.  I felt like that was above and beyond, and we definitely appreciated the gesture. 

In the morning we were able to look around and everything looked very clean and well maintained.  The roads and sites were wide and easy to navigate.
