Beware Buying Appliances and having them Installed via Home Depot. I bought several thousand dollars of appliances at the Home Depot in Park City several months ago. The GE Adora (a HD brand) dishwasher I purchased had a water leak from its solenoid while I was gone for a couple of weeks. It damaged my floors and cabinets that now need to be replaced. In trying to repair or replace this lousy dishwasher and file a claim I've spent nearly two weeks contacting HD and GE about this matter without success. Even with the hundreds of dollars more I spent for warranties it doesn't help. That's because these warranties aren't valid until after the manufacturer's warranty expires in one-year. Apparently I need to resolve this mess with the claims company HD uses, Sedgwick. This firm is not responsive, has reps that call from blocked numbers, don't allow you to speak to someone else or the operator when you can't reach the person who called you... You'd think Home Depot and GE would stand behind the products they sell. They don't. Avoid Home Depot, GE and anything involving Sedgwick.

I have had to wait over three weeks for my new washer and dryer to come in. Just because the delivery people havr cancelled and just not shown up. This is ridiculous. I'm not even paying them to put it in all they have to do is drop it off. I will never shop with Home Depot ever again!

You have to search to find someone willing to help. The first two employees were more interested in talking to each other than showing where to find something. They just said to look in the plumbing aisle - as if I hadn't already tried that?? Then I found another employee who was much nicer. He gave me suggestions for how to install a faucet. I got all the thing she suggested even though I wasn't sure he was all the way correct. I got home and gave me bad advice. I tried to explain the faucet didn't have standard-sized water supply lines, but he didn't seem to think that that's was an issue, well it was. I guess I could have tried to convince him more assertively of my issue, but I thought he more than I did. So, go a your own risk. If you know what you want, you might find it. Perhaps if you don't know what you need, give them more details so they can fully help, be careful to find the employees that actually want to help.

The staff was amazing!! Our oven died on Thanksgiving Eve, while trying to get the pies baked. We rushed from Evanston to Park City and they helped us out so that we could still have turkey the next day. They saved our Thanksgiving!! Thanks so much.

Generally a poor experience when searching for someone to help find an item. I've also picked up a screw in my tire twice in a period of one moth, obviously they need to do a better job at keeping the lot clean. When I called to discuss the issue with the lot I was told that they have it cleaned 4 times per day and the assistant store manager then tried rushing me off the phone. If possible, I will avoid this store.
