My rating is based on the store itself not Home Depot as a brand, which I find everything I need except finishing touches at. The customer service at check out is typically good, they are average speed at check out but often times fumble if anything goes outside the normal. If you're looking for help, ask a cashier to page someone before you walk there, because it is more rare to see members walking around in this store other than the fixed locations at cabinets and flooring. If you are going to return something it's either very quick or it will take you an hour. You'll never know until you go. They have all their sections stocked and anything you need they'll be able to point you in the right direction.

Would love to have barcode reader fun at self checkout. Hard to scan things in when they after large or boards of wood. Especially since self checkouts are some of the only checkout open.

No dogs, no Recording sign upon entering, EMPLOYEES TALKING ABOUT HOW I'M DRESSED, POLITICS DISCRIMINATION! I stop and ask a guy working the lot if dogs are allowed... He said yes, absolutely! When there was a sign that said no dogs, no recording and etc. I was confused but entered anyway because I had permission from an employee that said it was okay and people bring their dogs in all the time. I added up around 2500 dollars in my cart online and noticed a lot of the stuff was in store, so I wanted to check it out and look at it in person. When I entered the tool selection I was Obviously being watched by a person just staring at me, I was fine at first, doing his job but it became very annoying between the beeping and his presence. I was 5 minutes in and all ready like ... what the heck? Said whatever looked for made in USA channelling oil filter, only found the small one, asked an employee if there bigger ones, pointed me to a computer instead of looking for me, as I looking up the oil filter I can hear to older ladies talking about how I'm dressed of whyour they would follow me around and how I looked like a thief, I looked at them and they kept talking LOUDLY too.. then they started gawking politics. I am looking to spend over 2,000 dollars with this company and I get treated like this. I walk over to them and ask if they are talking about Customers "appearance" She said no, I said I could hearrange her.. then walks over the guy earlier that was staring at me. I am not poor, I am not a thief, so who the heck do you think you are talking about people like that. I will never shop at home depot after this and tell everyone single person about this and not to shop at home depot. THIS IS NOT A LIE, This really happened like I said. Imagine if this happened to you out of the blue while you are about to spend about 2,000...

I'd give another star if it was local. Some employees are helpful, some seem relieved to have not dealt with a customer. They do have pretty much anything you need, but the quality of some items does lean toward the cheaply made side.
