I have never felt so profiled in my whole life until today when I came to Home Depot just gathering some materials for a DIY I was very excited about. I came here eager and proud of myself for wanting to build shelves myself instead of immediately going out and buying one that was already put together. I only had 6 items so I went into Self Checkout so I didn't have to wait in line, there is where I met an employee who made me go from feeling like a proud 20 year old to an incapable human being all within 15 seconds. As soon as i went up the employee said she would scan my wood which made sense to me since they were pretty large boards. As I started grabbing my other items to ring them up myself she took them out of my hand without asking scanned them all for me and kept looking around my cart as if I had something to hide. I felt too shocked at the time to say anything but was more disturbed at the fact that the middle aged lady behind me was able to ring all of her items without being bothered but yet I was standing there feeling 100% profiled for looking younger. I understand shoplifting is a thing but for someone to just look at me at first glance because I looked younger and immediately assume I was up to no good really bothers me physically and mentally. I will still be back to the store for more materials in the future, but all I wanted was to share my experience for it is actually really bothering me.

Worst ever. Most "pass the buck, tell you what's in front of your face doesn't exist" outfit I've ever been to.

Costumer service is great. There very friendly and if you cannot find something they are exalent with helping you find it. Dose not disappoint me at all
