Sunday, March 26, 2017 - Approximately 10:00am - We were in Home Depot to find a particular shower head made by Peerless that Home Depot used to carry, but only carries now online. We were wanting to know what our options were on ordering it through the store for store pickup. We had never done this before and are currently traveling, so we would need the store pick up option. Walking around the store, looking for an employee to ask, we ran across Alissa. She was very friendly, attentive, willing to help and very professional. She led us to the service desk and began the procedure of ordering the item. While she was doing this, another employee came over and was helping as well. His name was Dave. He was very friendly, informative and also willing to help. The procedure went smoothly and everyone was happy with the outcome of what transpired. Both Dave and Alissa are due commendations for their ability to perform their duties in a professional and friendly manner.

Such great selection! The employees are awesome and they had everything I was looking for at a reasonable price. I highly recommend them over Lowe's, the customer service just doesn't compare.

Had a complete kitchen gut and install. It was a VERY challenging space; small and oddly shaped. Jeff, the designer performed a miracle! (I called the Vatican. They're investigating.) Then we had Absolute Construction do the install through Home Depot. Chuck hung the cabinets and did the crown molding. The ceiling has a very difficult line. I have had contractors complain about every little challenge. But not only did Chuck do a terrific job, he did it with such a positive attitude. He was a pleasure to be around.

Absolute worst customer service.....I've had great experiences here before and written about them. I usually don't get let this stuff bother me boy was this guy rude! I called the store needing to find a specific item in stock. The front had answered ans yes, a bit short and extremely rushed but I took at just being very very busy. The guy in the back answered calmly but with a regard like I was bothering him. "Millwork." 'Hi! I need to see if you have an item in stock. 'Uumm, ok.....(silence)..what do need?' 'I'm looking for a kind of moulding, do you want the SKU#?' (Now in a almost snotty, bland, & bothered tone) 'No not really, I'm with a customer and we're designing stuff.' .....(my silent moment now as I adjust)...Oh okay....uumm..' 'Do you want me to take your number or something and I can call you back later when I'm finished?'...(my turn to have a slightly snotty, overly sarcastic but sweet tone, couldn't help it) 'Suuurre, that would be GREAT'. 'Ok, what is it?'. I gave him my number and he hung up. WHAT! Didn't ask for my name or if I was at a business? Well guess what, I am at a business and now you will call the front desk and she won't know who you're talking about or you will think she is me and just start go right in to 'So what do need again?. (Oddly enough that's exactly what he did when he called later) Now I go up to the front and tell her who might be calling so she has a heads up. He does. I pick up and he just immediately says, "So what's that SKU# on what you were looking for?" Didn't get an, 'I'm sorry about earlier I was busy.' or a 'Hi, Dave with Home Depot.' Nothing. Needless to say my item isn't available and now I'm perturbed at the lack of customer service skills of Dave in Building Materials.
