I had a great experience today at the Home Depot on Palm Beach Lakes in West Palm Beach, thanks especially to Britney, the cashier at the self-checkout. She was very helpful with a terrific attitude throughout the checkout process. She had many customers asking questions and needing help from every direction, and she handled everyone with competence. I rang up my items, and got ready to pay, and realized I had forgotten my wallet. She sat my items aside for me, while I went back home to get my wallet. Then when I returned, I did not even have to ring them up again. Britney just touched a couple of entries on her computer,, and all I had to do was to pay. I really appreciated her good help, and wanted to let someone know. Kudos to Britney!

I worked with Bryan in Paint, and he was incredibly patient and helpful ! I was really impressed with his diligence and assistance when selecting touch-up paint matching samples. Great job Bryan. I think many of the other associates (that have been there a fair amount of time), really know their store and their stuff. Recently it seems however, that many faces are new part-timers and haven't YET gotten familiar enough with things to provide the level of customer service we, as consumers hope for. I'm sure as time goes on, all employees will be quick with helpful answers and product locations. Sadly, I agree with most other reviewers that currently, it can be a ghost town when you need help. Luckily, I'm pretty savvy and I know the layout of the store fairly well, hence the 4 stars.

I went into the store today to do an exchange for my job. If I could rate the store zero stars I would. Never have I experienced such unprofessionalism and a lack of customer service. When I came in I had to ask the young lady in returns was she open. She completed my return with very little enthusiasm. You would think that she would have pointed me in the direction of the items that I was looking for but that might have been a little too much customer service. So I wandered around the store until I finally stumbled upon a nice lady in lumber who pointed me back in the right direction. So I pick out the item I researched online and head to check out. After standing there for service, I was directed to Pro Services to complete my transaction because my manager had to give the card information over the phone. I stood there while Jennifer completed not one but two very loud and obnoxious personal conversations. She never once greeted me or asked how she could assist me. She turned around as if I was supposed to magically know what information she needed. I gave her the company phone number and she proceeded to ring up the transaction. Halfway through the transaction she starts another conversation in the same manner from before. The whole time my managers are on my cell waiting to complete the transaction. They're wondering what's going on because all they hear is Jennifer and another employees laughter. Once it's time for her to get the card number she calls my office manager and once it's brought up how they've heard the whole conversation she just laughs. I would have asked for a manager but with the lack of professionalism I experienced with the employee I was scared of what I might encounter with the manager. We had a meeting on customer service at my job yesterday and all of the things we went over of what not to do I experienced today. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone...ever!

I've given up on your Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard store. After two bad visits in a row I said I would never go back to that location, today I made the mistake of going back based on convenience of the location. The hassle caused by employees that are laxidasical and do not bear any customer service qualities will ensure that driving an extra 15 minutes to another location is more convenient than ever returning
