If you are willing to put up with inconsistent service levels, then this store is for you. Some days the service level is 5 star, other days far less so. The store seems to be well located and stocked, but also seems lacking in team member numbers and helpfulness depending upon the time and day. Perhaps they have an A Team and a B team due to full and part-time help..........? Good question, but every visit is a new experience.

Terrible if this is for the Venice store. Visited 4 departments needing help in each. The only one that we would even rate would be Xxx in the paint department. He was knowledgeable and helpful. Ask front cashier for help in locks. Along after a wait came Zzzzy He says "How can I. Help?" Just then his telephone rang. He answered and strolled off talking and saying I will check on that for you. Be assured we will continue but only in the Englewood store.

Home Depot had what I needed, helpful staff and fair prices. I will go back again when needed.

Counter Tops- Beware: We purchased a Silestone quartz countertop(black) last year, at Home Depot which uses Distinctive Surfaces. We had problems with staining next to the sink, I went to home depot, they said contact distinctive surfaces. It took a month of contacting them and finally Home Depot Corporate before someone would come look at it. The person who looked at it said the staining happens all the time to the dark colors. The quartz is still under warranty. I got an email from Distinctive Surfaces saying that said my claim was denied. The material is still under warranty. I could not find out why it was denied, nor was provided paperwork stating such. I went into Home Depot and purchased another piece of countertop (our house was going up for sale). The countertops were on sales 10% off, I was not offered the discount. I spoke with Distinctive Surfaces, they were willing to split the cost between the 3 of us and were going to contact home depot. Never heard back. I called Home Depot, and was told they were covering the cost of the installation. Distinctive Surfaces just emailed me saying they were only the installer, funny that two weeks ago they were willing to share the cost to replace the damaged piece. Beware, neither they, Silestone or Home Depot stands by the product. After 8 weeks of trying to resolve this, I've paid for a new piece of countertop (1500). I would expect that quartz would last more than a year.

The returns desk worker on the morning of 8/7/17 was VERY impolite and unprofessional. I was returning a cash purchase I had made a week earlier with all receipts present, and was denied a cash return. Only given the option of store credit. When i had simply asked for my cash back, i was met with a supply of snarky comments and rude attitude. Seems she was too lazy to do her job correctly and follow the return policy. Her attitude towards customers on this morning alone will be the reason I refuse to shop at this store again. I cannot shop at a place that treats honest customers so disrespectfully.
