Big restaurant.  It would be good for large parties.  Seafood and southern food.  I had the seafood platter.  It’s decent seafood, the catfish was light with a nice crust.  The food is good home style food.  The hush puppies were delicious, I couldn’t stop eating them.  Sweet potato pie for dessert!

When you walked in the door, you were besieged by a smell of something ominously foul. On a normal day, I would have walked out. However, my mom has loved this restaurant for a very long time. She insists on coming here whenever she is in Vegas. Unfortunately, the glory days of this place are far behind it. Turns out, the noxious smell was coming from the coleslaw on the salad bar. The actual hush puppies were not good. They had no seasoning and were bland and totally not what I know to be a southern hush puppy. The actual food was meh. Standard deep fried stuff that you can probably get at Red Lobster. Although, if that is what you are looking for, go to Red Lobster. It is way better and it is what it is....you know that walking in the door. And the cheddar biscuits are way better than these so called hush puppies.

I used to love this place, as did my 3 friends. Went online to find pricing but actual price in restaurant was $4.50 higher. Since i had to push for this night out (we're all strapped for cash) this started our night off badly. The salad bar looks a bit sad, but was the high point of meal. We all had blue cheese dressing, and maybe that was the seller.  When the catfish came, it was dry and bland. The shrimp was the same. No flavor. For an all you can eat restaurant, they only bring out very small portions, so you would have to constantly bother your waitress and wait for more. This wasn't an issue at our table, since the food was so bad we didn't want more.  So to pay for all you can eat and not even eat what first came out was truly a downer.

When in Vegas this was the place to go for good seafood.  I went there recently and was so disappointed.  Everything tasted terrible; portions were small.  Well maybe the hush puppies were good and plentiful.  THE HUSH PUPPY ain't what it use to be.

My husband and I have been going there for years, we're regulars, the food is delicious the staff is great and John the owner is so friendly takes time to talk to you a minute make sure your dining experience is a pleasurable one. I highly recommend family friendly restaurant.
