Great food and service. I love the atmosphere.  A taste and feel of Europe right in El Cerrito.

The only reason I didn't award 5 stars is because they don't have Dutch Crunch rolls on Mondays!

Save being on a non-preferred bread, my sandwich was top notch. Just the right amount of all the trimmings I asked for.

This is not only a cafe and deli, but a speciality food store selling German and British staples that I haven't seen available elsewhere in the area! Do you like a good canned plum pudding? This is the place!

Stellar Reuben sandwich! Spinach Brioche was a bit small and lifeless for the price. Potato and bean salads were good, but small-ish quantity. Nice selection of German breads & beers.

A hidden European gem with British and German food on the menu.  Half delicatessen half cafe,  this place is a must-visit if you miss Euro food, wine or candy.  Or beer. Or gifts. They really have a bit of everything.  Even Norwegian brown cheese. 

Place is even suitable to sit and work in if this is your kind of ambiance.
