One of my favorite places in Macomb. Food is always fresh and tasty. The owner is super friendly and informative as well. The dishes are always nicely presented as well. I usually get the vegetarian plate, which includes a bit of everything and is always great.

It is always quiet when we are there but that isn't a bad thing. The food is always delicious and fresh. I love the beef schwarma! They do both dine in and take out, which is good for the WIU students and locals. My husband an I come often.

The Mediterrenian music tinkled in the background. The smell of roasted meat filled the air. The owner was so kind to us (and my rambunctious kids). The food is made with love and tastes like it.

FIrst of all, we were the only people in the entire restaurant. It took 20 mins to get our drinks and all of our sodas were completely flat. When we mentioned the flat drinks, the waitress said the drink machine wasn't working and made some excuse that the machine needed ice and they had to go to the basement to get ice. She did try that but they were still completely flat.

We got our food about an hour after we ordered (the kids only had chicken nuggets and fries which should not take more than 10-20 mins especially if we are the only ones in the restaurant). I had a gyro which was overcooked and served on a stale pita shell. My wife had chicken kabobs that had a terrible flavor that must be "authentic" - tasted like a combo of curry and cinnamon. 

And lastly I had a piece of baklava that was old and completely burnt.

With all of that said, I would not recommend eating here. Keep driving and skip this place!

Absolutely delicious food. Normally can't get this quality of Eastern Mediterranean food outside of larger cities. Thank you so much for providing delicious authentic dishes!!!!
