Convenient service but be careful what clothes you take there. They ended up turning a handful of our white pink, and shredding one of the knit sweaters I brought in. For things that don’t need to be washed delicately or that are important to you, it is a very convenient service. Personally the price is not worth the quality I received so I will not be returning.
I was pleasantly surprised with my recent experience after reading some of the if-y reviews here. My apartment complex recently closed our laundry room for renovations and we were referred to Laundry Doctor in the meantime by management. I dropped off my clothes and was able to pick them up a little over a day later. The woman who was working when I dropped them off was really nice Katrina, I think?, answered all of my questions, and didn’t judge me for the absurd amount of time it’d obviously been since I had done my laundry. I dropped off four weeks worth of laundry in two large ikea bags and the total came to $26, which is very comparable to the monthly laundry fee my rental company normally charges for access to the laundry room, so I thought this was very affordable! When I picked it up the clothes were folded neatly and saran wrapped I assume to keep them clean in travel in categorized bundles pants together, shirts together, etc. It was so tidy and neatly organized that it fit comfortably in one of the two ikea bags I brought it in. They don’t use fragrance in their detergent, which my sensitive skin is very thankful for. The clothes feel incredibly clean. Biggest plus: their machines somehow removed all of the cat hair from my clothes, including my yoga pants/leggings. I have four cats; I did not think cat hair free clothing was ever truly in the cards for me. Somehow they did it. I’ll definitely be returning for the same service next month.
Service is great. I use them consistently/weekly, and can say they are the best in town. Several other cleaners I've used have lost/damaged items. Nothing other than the occasional button is worthy of a complaint with Laundry Doctor. Staff is surprisingly friendly and responsive. Complaints are immediately taken care of. Pricing is a big issue but the are still competitive in this market. Only 1 other cleaner had better pricing in St. Paul from my research. For ownership: the younger generation will only purchase wrinkle-free clothing if you continue to charge $3+ for a shirt to be cleaned and pressed. That's not a direct shot at Laundry Doctor, but the industry as a whole. I live a fairly comfortable life and can afford a few luxury expenses, but it's not like I can't clean and iron a shirt myself. As someone who recently dropped cable TV, dry cleaning may be next. Less and less employers require suit and tie, unfortunately mine does. Dry cleaning costs are the only reason I have issue with this rule. With your smart phone app, locker system, timely delivery, and great customer service, I see why pricing was raised, but New York City cleaners charge almost half of what Laundry Doctor currently charges. For that, you should feel some shame.
Truly a 5-star establishment. I went in to drop off some dry cleaning as a new customer today and was astonished by the cordial atmosphere lit by the staff and the patrons. Greeted at the door by the laundry doctor himself and his delightful laundry nurse, Brandy, as she was folding laundry at the counter, I saw first hand that my 5-star experience was not a single anomaly but in fact the way they do business. Each of the 3 customers that walked in before was greeted with a smile, and in turn they smiled and made friendly conversation with the other patrons. The owner working the register spoke in a friendly manner to the customer in line ahead of me, and the impact that made on me as a bystander was enough to earn my business for life. As I perused through some of the reviews before my visit today, I was unsure of what to expect from this laundromat. But after I got home and looked more closely I could see that the owner's responses to previous complaints all held true. The prices are competitive to other attended laundromats in the area, and the selection of washer and dryers seemed unmatched by anywhere I've gone before. The customer service was exemplary and set the mood for the entire establishment. This is the kind of thing that can turn an ordinary day at the laundromat into a delightful experience bested by none. Truly at the top of his game, the laundry doctor deserves your business. He and his staff most definitely earned my repeat business.
This is a great business. They are a laundry service for businesses, they will. Pick up your items wash them then bring it all back folded and clean for your employees and guests.
This was my first experience dropping clothes off to be laundered. I will say that it was a very pleasant and easy experience. I dropped off a big bag clothes to be washed and dried early in the morning, and the clothes were ready for pick up later that evening. The clothes were folded perfectly and separated better then what I had expected. They even hung my polo shirts on hangers. The price was more then fair considering that I would have to use pay laundry facilities anyways. And the time saving, Incredible. I feel like I got my Sundays back. I Will definitely be using this service on a weekly basis from now on.
This was my 2nd visit and my initial impression wasn’t changed for the most part. Again, I found the machines disappointing. There was an entire row that weren’t working. I finally found a working machine but based on its condition, I worried that it wouldn’t last through a wash cycle. This is despite the fact that the cost is about the same as a much nicer and well maintained laundromat. Secondly, the dyers were equally disappointing. Usually, the clothes are too hot to take out immediately, not so at The Laundry Doctor. I found I had spend more money & time and some of my things were still damp. It was cold. The snack machine was empty. I believe the owners are more focused on making money from drop offs than on providing a clean and efficient place for residents to do laundry: another disappointment. The only redeeming thing was the attendant who was very helpful and industrious. I don’t think my expectations are unreasonable and I honestly wish people had another option so the owners would have motivation to do better. Despite the convenience, I cannot with a clear conscience spend my money at subpar facilities.
