The Little Bar is very busy on Friday and Saturday at and after 4pm. This is because that is when their slow roasted prime rib is served. It is amazing. The dinner salad was even outstanding with a variety of greens that stood up to the chunky blue cheese dressing. The service is spotty at best. The white paper covering the tables needs to go. Food this good deserves a real table cloth!

Started out with a strawberry marguerita which was far far too sweet and served in a beer glass. The famous clam chowder was okay but served lukewarm.The salad was good.  The dinner rolls were very pasty and doughy.My wife had a fillet which was good and I enjoyed shrimp scampi with spinach. The guy next to me ordered a crusted walleye fillet which looked very good. I asked him how he liked it and he said it was very good. The waitress was very nice and service was good. My wife ordered a Little Bar coffee which she liked a lot. Overall, I spent about $100.00 with tip. If I go again, I will order a beer and be safe and skip the creamed soup which are never hot enough in 90% of all restaurants.

I've never had a bad experience here. The food is always very good. The prime rib is without question the best I've ever had. The atmosphere is wonderful, it really is "little" but the tables are not at all crowded. The staff is always friendly. I love the new  outdoor seating! I just wish they'd bring back dollar burger Wednesdays. Maybe even just once a month... or make them two dollars...  How about it?

Wow....I tend to be a food snob sometime and I certainly give compliments to the chef and our server Erica.  Everything from a really fresh salad with homemade balsamic dressing to fabulous clam chowder to wonderful entrees.  Quaint quiet atmosphere made a good date night for me and my hubby.  Its nice to get a great meal and not have to go to Detroit for it.   Kudos to The Little  Bar.  Wish we had room for dessert.
