Story

Eat. Drink. Be Happy. What does it take to be a regular at Bar Louie Auburn Hills? An enjoyment of the craft and the desire to experience something out of the ordinary. From our Chicago roots, we've always known that having a comfortable place to hang out, get great drinks, scratch food, awesome music, and the best service was something special. We create every Bar Louie with all of that in mind. It might not seem like an easy task, but we want to make sure you have a great time, any time you decide to come in. We could make it easier on ourselves, but we live for the quality and uniqueness of what we create. From our handcrafted everything bar, to our scratch everything kitchen, it's in our DNA to be the best. We're at our best when you're having a great time. It may not be normal and it certainly isn't ordinary, but we believe you deserve more than ordinary. If you're not a regular yet... You will be.

Came to Bar Louie for my husbands birthday our server was great, service was wonderful! My husband ordered a crispy chicken melt sandwich it looked great but tasted like fish. The server asked a manager to come over, he never did. He removed the sandwich from the bill. I asked to see the manager again he came over. I informed him that as leadership he should support his servers and at least make an appearance at customer tables and apologize. Many customers would diminish a servers tip due to the food being incorrect and a manager not caring. The manager Jason said “did you just call me over here to complain” I replied that I am offering advice to keep a wait staff happy which is a reflection of leadership. He then stated “what would you like me to do I was dealing with another table I would rather they leave satisfied and you can leave mad” I looked dumbfounded and told him that being okay with a customer leaving mad is completely confusing. His response “what would you like me to do.” I don’t know support your waitstaff and stop being a sorry excuse for a leader!! Aaron is another manager that just avoided us altogether he was walking around with Jason laughing instead of checking on any customers. I will not return and I would have given 0 stars but it wasn’t an option. I may go back when Jason and Aaron are let go which if the upper management has a brain should be soon!

We had an awesome time! Our waitress was extremely nice and patient with the kiddies. Food was good, served hot and quick even though they were jam packed! Nice atmosphere that is any age friendly!!

Good ambiance. Being in the mall makes it convenient after a shopping stint. And can watch a movie in the theater next door after dinner.

Hands down the most disgusting place I have been. Menus were dirty, sticky had food crusted on them. When server was asked to get clean menus, she came and wiped existing menus with a dirty rag... Same dirty rag that all of the tables were wiped with. Staff was not friendly and seemed lazy and didn't want to be bothered. Only ordered drinks ( too afraid to eat anything from what I can only assume was a dirty kitchen) drinks came out Martini was pure olive juice no vodka and the other drink was lemonade no vodka. Paid bill and left. Do not go here! Do not waste your time or money.

The hostess was so rude and had a very poor attitude. Our service was good at first then we put the kids food in first and 10 minutes later put ours in and ours came out first. Then the server let our drinks sit in the window while she talked with fellow co-workers and some friends that were in the restaurant. I had to ask for them. And under our table was sticky and had food under it. Very bad experience
