The main areas of the Lodge at Tiburon were nice, but the rooms left a lot to be desired. For the amount of money we spent, I was expecting an extremely high quality experience. Other hotels I have stayed at in the same price point are true four star hotels. The Lodge's rooms seemed stuffy, musty, and small. The pillows and bed were horrible and neither of us slept well. The bathroom was a claustrophobic hole (albeit with good water pressure, which was a positive). The front desk was very nice and accommodating, so I don't have complaints about the service. Also, for how dated the hotel felt, it was kept very clean.

Great drinks. Food is decent. Atmosphere is nice. We were there on a Saturday night and they had live music. Happy hour menu is good too. The place is pretty expensive though, but so is everything in Tiburon

Nice lodge-style hotel nestled in Tiburon, north of San Francisco. We perhaps would've preferred a place closer to SF so we could get the full SF experience without so much time spent commuting, but if you're looking for somewhere slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is perfect! It's in a nice area and has very accommodating staff. The restaurant has high reviews, but wouldn't recommend the room service.

Nice little city, but for the price you pay, we expected something much nicer. The rooms were pretty old and you can hear creaking as you walk around. The bathroom was small, but at least it seemed clean. Some metal part of the door fell off and housekeeping said to just leave it on the ground. You'd expect that maybe the service would stand out, but not quite. Upon checking in, they have a small pull up driveway...one family's can was parked and blocked any other cars from pulling up as several waited in the street to turn in. This lasted well over 10 min. Apparently they we're waiting for the bellhop to come with a cart for their stuff....

Great location, glorified motel.  Rare Marin pool.  Close to ferry.  Restaurant is kid-friendly, nice menu with seafood options (crabcakes, mussels) and they often have live music which is a nice touch.  Loads of outdoor seating.
