I have been a client of Gail Benson's for 20 years. I am one of those people for whom quality, character and competence matter. In all of those years and up to this present day, I have received beautiful color, beautiful hair styles and hair care tips based on a generation of experience. The staff of women and men are informed and educated in detail regarding the latest hair styles, products and trends. Gail works tirelessly in informing and leading the community with her involvement in Wigs and Wishes and her philanthropic awareness and fight against breast cancer. Gail not only keeps her clients gorgeous but she is there for special events such as proms and weddings and funerals. She relies on her team for each of these occasions and seems to easily make the world a more beautiful place. My special gratitude to you, Gail, for your endless devotion to serve all of us in your classy and professional manner.

The Look Salon has always gone above and beyond to help me get into an appointment with my wacky schedule. I appreciate ALL of them as they are always kind and considerate. My daughter also goes there and Sarah cuts both of us and we are happy campers. Gail was most kind and got us out of a pickle recently for prom and I AM MOST THANKFUL! KEEP UP THE GREAT JOB ! The Look Salon can only be described in one word...fabulous! From the second I walked in the door, the experience was fun and relaxing. I was greeted and offered a drink - even a glass of wine! Everyone in the salon had a smile on their face and they have reason to. I could not have been happier with the way my hair turned out - I get compliments on it daily. Will definitely be back to The Look Salon. Would highly recommend!!

I had gotten years of great hair cuts from Gail, the owner, but recently my hair was ruined at The Look by her. I had gotten a nice cut but it was just one inch too long. I had gone in to have the one inch shortened. I walked out with my long hair sheared off above my shoulders with choppy short awful layers all over. I am so upset and disappointed. I look horrible. So short I can't even put it up. So short I can't get it to go around an roller. No excuse for this. Maybe Gail was upset I came back to ask for my hair to be a bit shorter, I don't know. I just know I look awful and I'm so sorry I came back to have that little bit cut off to have my hair destroyed. I trusted them. My advice is don't go here if you want someone to truly care about giving you what you ask for. Very hurt and sad. They can't bring my nice hair cut or long hair back. Just in time for Christmas too I wish them all well, but what was done to me was wrong. The bible says a woman's hair is her glory. I don't have much glory shining anymore. I am posting so this doesn't happen to you. UPDATE: Gail, the owner of The Look called me after reading this review. She apologized and offered to send me my money back. Nothing can bring my hair back, but it was genuine of her to call. Felt I wanted to share that with you.
