This place feels like family. The bartenders still talk to Patrons. The music is eclectic & fun. There are two superdope hidden back rooms with games and stuff and drinks are strong and super reasonably priced. Really the only bar I go to anymore BC everyone is so nice & friendly.

Wonderful place with bartenders like Mookie Tanya and Jeremy that make the place phenomenal! The games are a draw and I can't wait to go back! 10 out of 10! Ain't no Gout without doubt! Nfa

Jeremy treated me so right, amazing experience at the bar. Fun ping pong, a good pool table, a fun foosball table and just an all around great experience here. Def would recommend it to anybody, especially if Jeremy is bartending he will try as hard as he can to put you first.

The Monkey Bar is quite possibly the worst bar I have been to in denver. The staff is horrible. Extremely rude and unwelcoming. Do not recommend this location in the slightest. Since the venue, games and location are awesome I gave it two chances. Yet both times I was apalled by the people who work there. Unless you are a regular they treat tou like trash. I have no idea how this place still exists with their current staff. Heard the same story from friends. Stay away from The Monkey Bar you will not regret it.

A great local bar! It always has the friendliest crowd that makes you feel like you are in an episode of Cheers. The prices are very good and the pickle shots are the best in town. They have a large rear patio with a TV so you don't miss any of the games. The bartenders are friendly and remember you every time! The Monkey Bar is a destination bar that you will not be disappointed by!

Bartender was rude. Probably will never be back. Asked about his bourbons and he goes “look, if it’s not on the shelf, we don’t have it”. I literally asked one question. Sorry for trying to see if you had something I enjoyed and trying to give you money.

Great dive bar. Loved the $2 PBRs & beer pong spaces along with other games. Definitely a unique spot!

Kind of a dive bar for the band of misfits we sat on the rooftop we were able to smoke weed cigarettes just a unusual crowd that goes to that bar it didn't find

Open reliably till 2am? Love it. Great back patio, good place to go with friends. Feels whimsical, like a college bar in a good way with regulars who are quite friendly! Play beer pong, foosball, ping pong or shoot pool inside or on the awesome back patio!
