Great tourist spot been going since I was a kid. It's a great place to just stop and look around sometimes. There have been times when I felt rushed in the store but small in comparison to all the wonderful times I've had here!

Honestly I was disappointed by the store this time around. Lack of product in the store. It had the feel of a store that may be closing in the near future. Both myself and my friend were of the same opinion.

I am a semi-retired gentleman and have just recently received an adverse administrative experience at the Muskoka Store. I was recently hired by the store manager as a representative to service their array of barns/sheds/ playhouses via their manufacturer Old Hickory Buildings. After being duly oriented, I received a one day training by a corporate representative on their product lines and methodology in fulfilling orders. Following this I would be able to sufficiently showcase these products. Upon calling the store the following day to confirm working hours, the store manager advised me that, in the interim, without her knowledge, the owner Bruce had hired someone else. In fact, the manager stated that quite often there is a lack of a communication flow between store administration on various matters. The store manager also speculated that maybe I wouldn't be suited for the position after all in spite of being hired! Although the manager was very apologetic, nonetheless, I find this episode very distasteful and unprofessional with poor logistics undertaken. I will never ever recommend this store to anyone, certainly in light of such a laissez faire attitude affecting myself. In fact when I mentioned this to some cohorts at a nearby golf club I am associated with, they were appalled at such amateurism

This store is so depressing. All the staff look like they want to hang them selves from boredom. The inventory is lacking, I would never come here again.
