I'm currently in the middle of playing phone tag with customer service about a faulty Danby fridge I JUST purchased which was delivered to me broken! It makes a loud and annoying sound as though it's hungry (even drowns the TV volume out). The motor is obviously malfunctioning. Steve, the manager I'm trying to get a hold off doesn't return calls. I'm wasting more time than I should to even speak with someone. If I get a hold of someone and the experience is positive I will revise this, but for now the customer service team is lacking and don't want to honor the product which was delivered to me THE DAY BEFORE. If they had followed up properly, this review would not be up. Please learn that lesson and replace my fridge.

The chain is great and their warranty policy (100% money back at end of coverage as in-store credit) is unbeatable. Here's the issue - their quality is based on individual reps who vary from great to a stereotype of the worst type of salesperson. They need to standardize their service offering through training similar to Starbucks to create a great and consistent buying experience that keeps people happy and coming back.

I was at the Brick (Barrie) in December and bought a bedroom set. The salesman told me that I would receive it by Mid January. I threw out my old bedroom set to make room for the delivery. Now I am sleeping on a recliner sofa since January 14 (mid January) and they tell me that they will receive the delivery by February 5th and then contact me for delivery. I could have gotten custom made furniture in less time. The sales reps at this store only want your money and will tell you anything to get it. After they get it you are screwed and at their mercy. I have tried several times to get this resolved and nothing no star but had no choice to say one. Sore back

I arrived shortly before closing. The saleslady, manager and staff were quite friendly and accomodating even though they had to stay a few minutes extra to finish the sale.
